Is it possible to make a licensed replica of the famous Ruger pistol, on which the popular AAP01 family of replicas were based? As Lancer Tactical shows with the Cthulhu pistol replica, this is possible.Together with accessories manufacturer Tandemkross, a licensed replica of this platform was created.

The airsoft version is built using a polymer grip and receiver. The aluminum parts have been additionally coated in red and include an enlarged charging handle, magazine release button, thumb rest and outer barrel. The receiver has a rail for optics and raised sights with fiber optic inserts.

Compared to the popular AAP01, the Cthulhu pistol replica has a safety located at the back of the grip (which is the same as in the real firearm). An adjustable flat trigger is also used, with the safety removed. The replica also has replaceable grip panels with a pattern that improves the grip. The replica also has the Tandemkross company name on it.
