During the IWA Outdoor 2024 fair, more new products were presented by APS, the company responsible for the entire range of gas-powered replicas, AEG accessories and gas-powered grenades. We were presented with new Edge 2.0 and 3.0 gearboxes (for the V.2 and V.3 gearboxes, respectively), which are expected to be characterized by smooth operation and durability.
The gearboxes will be equipped with a quick spring replacement system, a MOSFET and the proprietary ETU “Rapid Fire” system by default. The replica of the VSR-10 sniper rifle with a classic appearance and Barrett company markings also attracted special attention. Another licensed product were AR-15 replicas, bearing Noveske markings.
APS is famous for its unusual approach to the topic of replicas, as we wrote about in the past. And this time the company surprised us with a replica of the iconic Striker 12 shotgun, also called the Street Sweeper in two variants.
The Mk.3 version has the already known system of shells filled with gas and BBs. The newly prepared Mk.2 variant has a different system with a fixed Green Gas tank in the pistol grip and uses single-piece shells in a system known from revolver replicas.
As you can see, the replicas are already completed, so they can be expected to appear i stores in the near future.
The AEG replica line has also been refreshed with two new AR-15 replicas with an unusual design.
One variant is equipped with a fixed stock, while the other has a foldable stock and a cable system. Both versions are equipped with iron sights inspired by WWII fighter planes sights. More photos can be seen below.
