Owners of C.A.T. replicas will soon be able to enjoy new add-ons. Japanese modular AR-15 replicas, which we wrote about in the past (The C.A.T series i.e. replicas from Arcturus Tactical and Spark Airsoft 97 with a two-piece gearbox), have received a new variant. The Versatile 5S Valor model has an extended magwell design, inspired by the Kriss Vector. The replica itself has a receiver made of polymer and a replaceable magwell for dedicated PCC magazines.

For even greater weight reduction, instead of the classic handguard, M-LOK rails mounted to a dummy gas block were used.

An unusual approach was also taken to the stock, offering the popular dropstock design with the possibility of length adjustment and vertical adjustment in 3 positions.

Space for the battery in the guide itself has also been retained. There have been no changes inside and the replica still uses a two-part gearbox frame, mechanically adjustable precocking, a High-Torque motor and a micro-switch bases electrical system.

The whole thing weighs only 1.95 kg and has an internal barrel length of 175 mm.
