The offer of thermal imaging sights from InfiRay Outdoor will soon include a new product - the Bolt TX60C. Thermal imagers from the Bolt line are intended for the US market, while in Europe they can be expected to be released under the Tube TX60C name.
Similar to Tube TS60, which we described while visiting the IWA OutdoorClassics 2024 fair, the new Bolt TX60C uses a 12 μm sensor with very high thermal sensitivity of <18 mK and a refresh rate of 50 Hz. It is also equipped with a 60 mm /F1.0 lens. The difference between the sensor provided to the user in the latest model is its resolution - 1024x1024 px. In this configuration, the sight provides a base magnification of 3x, maximum viewing angles of 11.7° x 11.7° and a detection range of nearly 2,500 meters.
The quality of the image displayed in the sight is influenced by the use of a round AMOLED 2560x2560 pixels screen. High comfort of observation is facilitated by the use of a double power source, which enables uninterrupted operation of the thermal scope for at least 8 hours and a quick replacement of a standard 18650 battery, without the need to turn off the device.
Like all other modern thermal sights from InfiRay Outdoor, the Bolt TX60C model has implemented numerous additional functions, including various image display modes, a photo and video recorder with recoil activation and reverse recording capabilities, as well as compatibility with the external ILR-1200-1 laser rangefinder module. The device can be mounted on weapons using standard 30 mm mounts, meets high resistance standards (1000 g/s², e.g. 300 Win./ 7 mm Mag; IP67) and is covered by a 5-year warranty. It should be available in stores within a few weeks, and the manufacturer's suggested retail price for the US market will be 6,999 USD.
