The Fenix company's offer was expanded with a new flashlight combining the features of tactical and EDC products. Due to its characteristics and parameters, it may be of particular interest to people looking for a small and inexpensive model with a large beam range.
Fenix TK05R is made of A6061-T6 aluminum and uses the OSRAM CSLPM1.TG LED emitter. The new flashlight is characterized by a focused beam (5.3°) and satisfactory light source intensity - in the highest mode it reaches up to 50,600 candela, which translates into a range of up to 450 meters. The luminous flux value declared by the manufacturer has a maximum of 1000 lumens.
The new product uses a double switch on the rear cap, known from other flashlights in this series, which facilitates operation and selection of lighting modes. Thanks to this, the user has the opportunity to, among other thing, to immediately activate of not only the previously memorized mode, but also the strobe mode.
The TK05R is powered by a replaceable 18350 battery with a capacity of 1100 mAh. Depending on the mode selected by the user, it allows for operating the flashlight from 50 minutes to up to 14 hours and 30 minutes. The flashlight is also equipped with a USB-C port and a charge level indicator.
The new product from Fenix is resistant to falling from a height of 1 meter and meets the IP68 water resistance standard. It was priced at $79.95.
