Despite the lack of an official premiere, first offers of the M16A2 replica made by Vega Force Company have been sighted. The iconic version of the American carbine has already appeared on our radar during the MOA 2023 fair in December, where, next to the then announced PPSh-41 replica, we got our hands on a pre-production version of the M16A2 replica (The famous Papasha from Vega Force Company).
The entire design is based on the already widely known M4 GBBR V3 standard by Vega Force Company, using of 20 and 30-round magazines, steel parts of the trigger mechanism and an increased efficiency of the entire system.
The element that distinguishes the new replica from previous models is the use of a trigger mechanism with a 3-round burst instead of full-auto fire. The exterior retains the 20-inch external barrel with a thickened profile, a fixed stock with storage compartment, a fixed transport handle and a handguard with a round cross-section. Inside there is an internal barrel with a length of 360 mm, thanks to which the replica generates a muzzle velocity of 360 fps using 0.2g BBs.
The entire replica is available for pre-order at a price of approximately 440 EUR. The shipping is supposed to start in mid-August this year, but this may change.
