A shorter version of TMAG® magazines from Magpul will soon be available for sale. The new product, the TMAG® 20 AR/M4 GEN M3™, holds 20 rounds and has most of the features of the 30-round variant we wrote about last year.
This shortened magazine variant weighs about 102 grams and is 14.48 cm long, making it more suitable for shooting with a bipod (the TMAG® 30 variant is 19.05 cm long).
More importantly, due to its smaller dimensions, the TMAG® 20 AR/M4 GEN M3™ does not have markings on the housing and a single spring coil with a distinctive color (known from the TMAG® 30 variant), which act as an indicator of the number of remaining rounds.
The new TMAG® 20 is priced at $23.95, the same as the 30-round model.
