Operation ANODA VI - NIGHT

On March 15–16, 2025, the "Operation ANODA VI – NIGHT" event took place in the municipalities of Pątnów and Rudniki (on the border of the Łódź and Opole regions), organized by the MIWO Association from Praszka. It was an 11-hour, cyclical night field game using airsoft replicas, combining elements of team, staff, and milsim gameplay.

The simulation was designed for multi-member teams, whose goal was to find control points and complete additional tasks in an unfriendly environment. Each team acted as a self-sufficient "task patrol" exposed to elimination not only by rival teams but also by a larger, motorized, and more organized pursuit group. An additional twist was the existence of a third party in the conflict, whose task was to hinder and delay the pursuit of task patrols.

In addition to the combat itself, task patrols had to demonstrate skills in navigation, infiltration, observation, using optoelectronic equipment, and many other devices. As for the pursuit group, key factors included radio communication, cooperation with other teams, and coordination of actions with vehicle support. Due to the high level of difficulty, which resulted in the previously low success rate of task patrols, the organizers decided to reduce the number of people and limit the available resources for the pursuit group, which in previous editions had nearly flawlessly detected and eliminated teams operating in the field. Procedures at control points were also simplified, allowing small units to move more quickly. However, one of the most recognizable elements of recent ANODA editions was retained – the group searching for control points still had to transport a heavy, long, and cumbersome, fictional "cargo".

Operation ANODA VI – NIGHT attracted a total of 95 players from across the country and ended with the success of five teams, which completed all the tasks. The first to achieve this was the RQS Team, followed shortly by Blackops Group Poland and Grupa Rozpoznania Specjalnego.

The organizers of the event extend their thanks to Wieluń Forest District for allowing the use of the forests and to the residents of the Kałuże village for their patience and understanding during the maneuvers.
