The Polish company Smart Target has been covered several times at our portal, yet it continues to introduce new products to the market. During this year's Euro Target Show 2025 in Poznań, we had the pleasure of seeing these new products.
The first of them, meant both for training with and without the use of the Smart Target systems, are inserts for 9 mm Glock and AR-15 magazines, which prevent the slide from locking in the rear position during training. The inserts are made using 3D technology and will be offered at the price of around 14 EUR for a set of 4 for AR-15 magazines and around 12 EUR for a set of 6 for 9 mm Glock magazines. They should be available for sale in the coming weeks.
Work is underway on another version of the laser trainer. This time, instead of dedicated inserts, a new product has been created based on a gas-powered Glock pistol replica.
Efforts have been made to allow mechanical zeroing of the laser through adjustment in the trigger chamber. To maintain the realism of the trigger pull, a dedicated system based on magnets was used, co-developed with the Polish company Perun Airsoft.
The magazine has not been forgotten either, as it is replaced with a printed mock-up with a magnet for detecting the exchange. Work on the new trainer is still ongoing, and the expected price should be below 2000 PLN.
Another planned product is a mobile application that will allow managing the entire sensor system on which the trainers are based.
