The 63rd Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan brought more new replicas from Tokyo Marui. What has the Japanese airsoft legend prepared this time?
Glock 19 Gen5 MOS
The first of the new products is a replica of the Austrian Glock 19 Gen5 MOS pistol. In addition to its smaller size, this new replica offers not only internal parts compatibility with the Glock 17 Gen5 MOS, but it also introduces some changes, such as a 20% increase in nozzle capacity.
It is still possible to use G19 magazines, but with the release, new G19 2.0 magazines with a distinctive orange follower will be introduced. The replica's slide is made from carbon fiber reinforced resin. As the MOS (Modular Optic System) name suggests, optics can be mounted directly on the slide. Unfortunately, the only confirmed compatible optic is the Micro Pro Sight, with no details on other mounting standards. Additional customization options include interchangeable backstraps with two variants (long and short).
P320 Full Size
Another popular pistol replica on the horizon is the P320 Full Size. This fresh product was designed from scratch, reproducing many features of the real firearm. One standout feature is the FCU (Fire Control Unit) module, which can be quickly removed in field conditions.
Since the real firearm comes in two variants (with or without a manual safety), Tokyo Marui opted for the more classic version with a safety, along with an individual laser-engraved serial number on the module. It also features ambidextrous controls in the form of a thumb safety and a slide stop lever, which interestingly does not directly interact with the slide and therefore won't wear out over time.
The outer barrel was designed similarly, ensuring the chamber doesn't rub against the slide. Inside the replica, you'll find a hop-up chamber adjustable via a dial, a 15 mm nozzle, and other reproduced elements such as a dummy extractor and recoil plate. There is no integrated optics mounting system here - only classic iron sights are included.
The Tokyo Marui P320 replica features a classic grip with a rich texture created using laser technology. It is compatible with 22-round magazines, but a 30-round version was also mentioned as a possibility.
M29 .44 Magnum
For fans of more iconic designs like revolvers, new variants of the M29.44 Magnum revolver replica are being prepared, featuring 4.5-inch and 6-inch barrels.
Unfortunately, no specific release dates or performance details have been announced.
