Long-awaited new arrivals have recently hit the Taiwangun offer. The EC-203 and EC-204 showcase the direction East Crane aims to take in the design and production of new models of replicas. Both replicas are equipped with the Eshooter ETU Basic, and their internals are all the more interesting. Here are the details.
EC-203
The EC-203 features a long 22mm RIS rail and a handguard with an M-lok system. This allows for mounting all kinds of tactical accessories. Additionally, the handguard on both sides is equipped with QD sling mounting sockets. On the top RIS rail, iron sights are mounted, which can easily be replaced with any optics to suit the user’s needs.
The 6-position adjustable stock provides flexibility during games in changing conditions. The manufacturer has made every effort to faithfully replicate the real firearm. This is clearly visible in the ambidextrous safety/selector switch, magazine release, and bolt catch.
EC-204
The EC-204 is made from top-quality materials. Except for the stock, pistol grip, and magazine, which are made of polymer, all other parts are made of high-grade metal. The replica is equipped with a long 22mm RIS rail and three shorter rails on the handguard, allowing for attachment of an almost unlimited number of tactical accessories such as flashlights or bipods. Iron sights are mounted on the top RIS rail and can be replaced with any optics the user prefers. The 6-position adjustable stock with a non-slip buttpad allows the replica’s length to be adjusted to the user's build or changing conditions during games. The muzzle device is mounted on a 14mm CCW thread, allowing for installation of a wide range of sound suppressors.
Inside both replicas, you’ll find a dedicated long-type V2 gearbox with a quick spring change system, compatible with the TM standard. The gearboxes are equipped with steel gears set in 8mm ball bearings. A long type-0 cylinder ensures proper compression, and the piston with metal teeth offers increased durability. High precision and shot consistency are achieved with a 6.03mm inner barrel and a reinforced polymer rotary hop-up chamber. To make hop-up adjustment easier, the replicas are fitted with a functioning bolt catch.
Thanks to Taiwangun’s involvement, the Eshooter ETU Basic system has been pre-configured for semi-automatic fire only. Of course, the replica can be reprogrammed according to the user’s needs. In addition to firing modes programming, the Eshooter ETU Basic offers:
