In Łomianki, near Warsaw and close to the Galeria Łomianki shopping center, the first 5.11 Select Premium Dealer showroom in Poland has opened. 5.11 is an American manufacturer of tactical and outdoor clothing and gear. The store's opening coincided with the grand opening of the large Jammas Shooting Center, which it is a part of.

The new 5.11 store is the first dealer store of Select Premium Dealer rank in Poland and offers most of the manufacturer’s product range available off the shelf. It allows interested customers to explore the extensive 5.11 assortment in one place—from shooting sports and uniformed services to (tactical) outdoor. The store offers specialized tactical clothing from the V.XI line and classic 5.11 gear (including Icon Pants), including women’s designs, as well as the brand's famous backpacks, such as the refreshed Rush 2.0 series and the newer lightweight Skyweight line. There are also various types of bags for carrying firearms and gear—both for daily use and for the range (e.g., the new Range Ready line developed in cooperation with Sig Sauer), and for duty use (e.g., the indestructible SOMS and CAMS bags). During the opening, items like the Tac-Tec Plate Carrier vest attracted a lot of attention and remain highly popular in this gear category.

The footwear also attracted interest—products that the brand isn't primarily known for in Poland but which are noted for high-quality production and comfort. I’ll be writing more about this soon. Especially noteworthy is the A.T.L.A.S. (All Terrain Load Assistance System) sole series, which offers excellent grip on any terrain and cushioning, even when carrying a heavy backpack in mountainous terrain. The brand has also recently introduced gear for dogs—collars, harnesses, and leashes designed with K9 units in mind. 5.11 is also known for occasionally releasing products with a tactical sense of humor. The long-time hit: the tactical kilt, started as an April Fools’ joke, but due to popular demand, it returned to the offering many times. A while back, a backpack for patch collectors was released, and now, in the new Jammas location, you can purchase a tactical BBQ apron or next-gen tactical flip-flops.

The Jammas company, previously known for its "Strefa Celu "store on Waszyngtona Avenue in Warsaw, has opened its new headquarters in Łomianki at 6 Pancerz Street. The facility is intended to fully serve firearm and shooting enthusiasts. Though somewhat hidden, it impresses with its spaciousness. The three-story building houses the 5.11 showroom on the ground floor, while the floor above offers a firearms shop with a showroom. The top floor includes conference and training rooms, where a stationary virtual shooting range and a CQB360 simulator were set up during the opening.

Within the 2000 m² of this high-end facility, a fully functional gunsmith workshop was a must. Opposite the gun store is a large room equipped with machines enabling nearly unlimited servicing and customization of Jammas' firearms (including IWI, BUL Armory, ARMSAN, Son of Liberty). Services include Cerakote painting, stippling, and custom engraving. For now, a MoST-1 container shooting range has been installed in front of the building, but a future underground range with 50-meter lanes is planned. The newly opened CSJ (Jammas Shooting Center) is an American-style experience center where customers are comprehensively taken care of, depending on their individual needs. It’s a place where visitors receive expert guidance—starting from clothing, firearm selection, matching accessories and gear to their requirements, to weapon modifications and training. And when their heads are full of new information, they can relax on one of the many sofas while enjoying coffee from the customer-access espresso machine.

The event's prestige was elevated by the ambiance and special guests. Liściu was signing his book titled "Combat Shooting". Guests were welcomed with a symbolic glass of (non-alcoholic) champagne and rich catering that quickly attracted many attendees. Expert advice was provided by representatives of companies cooperating with Jammas, such as 5.11, and also Hubertus Pro at the showcases with Fabarm shotguns and Savage Arms carbines, as well as M.K. Szuster presenting Sig Sauer firearms. Also present were Americans showcasing holsters from the Rounded Gear brand. Participants could take advantage of special promotions and a lottery, with the grand prize being an IWI Carmel carbine worth nearly 13,000 PLN. Additionally, 19 other winners will receive prizes valued up to 2,000 PLN. The lucky winners will be announced on October 4th.

5.11 Tactical is the world’s first tactical apparel brand and a pioneer in the tactical clothing industry. Officially founded in 2003, the idea and initial products actually date back to the late 1960s under a different brand. At that time, Royal Robbins and his wife began sewing durable, comfortable, and practical pants for climbers in the U.S., which quickly gained popularity. The idea was based on incorporating features from military uniforms into sport-specific gear—mountain climbing, in this case. That’s where the name 5.11 comes from—it referred to the highest (at the time) difficulty rating for a climb in the U.S. These now-iconic pants soon caught the attention of FBI agents, as well as Dan Costa, who acquired the brand in 1999 and launched 5.11 Tactical in 2003. Most products go through testing and consultations with law enforcement personnel. The company collaborates with nearly every U.S. government agency and many others worldwide, including in Poland. 5.11’s motto is “Always Be Ready,” which reflects their design philosophy focused on functionality, quality, and comfort. Since the brand’s inception, many imitators have emerged, but 5.11 remains at the forefront—continuously surprising the market with innovative, high-performance solutions. Now there's a new place in Poland where you can explore their offerings more easily.
