Not long ago Warhead Industries has appeared on our pages in an interview (Motors, BBS and more - an interview with the CEO of the Warhead Industries brand [INTERVIEW]), and now the announced products are beginning to appear in stores. The new Vanguard series motor has been prominently presented, promising an unprecedented range of features. It is already available in both short and long versions and, for now, comes only with a D-type shaft (although an O-type version has also been announced). Alongside these standard parameters, numerous changes and improvements have been introduced.

Warhead Industries decided to introduce 4 stabilizing screws with 4mm of adjustability (2mm per side), improved cooling through a redesigned housing, a replaceable turret with a one-way bearing in the base, and a replaceable and adjustable base element for easier servicing and full adjustability.

The motor itself is designed to work with 2S/7.4V and 3S/11.1V batteries, offering a response time between 4 and 8.5 ms.

Another new product is the already announced Base V2 motor, a modernized successor to the V1 version. It shares some features with the Vanguard (adjustable position via screws, reinforced shaft bearing), but is made of a different material (6061 aluminum) and lacks some functions (such as a one-way bearing). It will be offered in the same configuration — long and short motor, O-type and D-type shafts — but will be more affordable for players.

Both motors use the new RedFet controller, which serves as the foundation for upcoming Warhead Industries projects. The controller can connect via Bluetooth to the DFS mobile app (currently in development) and allows users to adjust performance parameters (RPM, torque, parameter monitoring). Additionally, modifications have already been developed, including an extra module with additional ceramic capacitors, offering even faster response times when using stronger springs. To further reduce electrical resistance, the connectors are made entirely of CNC-machined bronze and mounted directly onto the controller board.

Interested users will also have the option to purchase the controller separately as a replacement, repair, or performance upgrade for their existing Warhead Industries motors, thanks to backward compatibility with other products. Compatibility with ETU systems from brands such as Gate Enterprise, Perun Airsoft, Jefftron, E-Shooter and others has been maintained.
