Double Bell company has announced its new replica with a small surprise. The fresh announcement is the Mini-14 carbine, straight from "The A-Team" TV series. Originally the carbine Mini-14 chmbered in .223/5.56x45 mm was produced by Ruger, as a scaled-down version of the M14 rifle chmabered .308/7.62x51 mm. Double Bell went a bit further, abandoning dedicated magazines in favor of ones used by a more popular replica platforms, namely the AR-15, and adding an extra rail for mounting optics.

The replica's construction uses plastic and metal. It is said to feature the characteristic folding stock and to be available in versions with black or silver components as well as wood-like furniture.




The replica is also to receive a dedicated gearbox and an electronic control unit, the ability to fire in full-auto and semi-auto modes, and a claimed muzzle velocity of about 400 fps. Four different variants have been announced for the market, differing in barrel length, muzzle devices and gas-block components.
