After the first announcements at the IWA 2024 trade show about the replica of the VSSK Vykhlop rifle (VSSK Vykhlop - replica from Silverback Airsoft), further information teasing the upcoming release has just appeared. A post detailing the upcoming replica has been published on the Silverback Airsoft profile. As we can learn from it, the manufacturer has managed to maintain the goal of ensuring compatibility with parts from another popular replica (SRS). This includes components such as the cylinder, piston assembly, spring guide, spring, and BB follower (SRS/Tac-41).

Alongside this, standard parts such as the SRS/TAC-41 hop-up bucking, a classic AEG inner barrel with a length of 350 mm and diameter of 6.05 mm were used. Despite this, the replica will allow installation of barrels up to 571 mm with a 20 mm extension, or 830 mm when using a dummy suppressor with a 24 mm CW thread. The replica itself has a standard length of 646 mm, which increases to 1121 mm when the suppressor replica is installed.

The construction is based on stamped components (made of steel), an aluminium receiver, top rail, outer barrel, and internal suppressor elements, as well as accessories made from glass-fibre reinforced nylon. This results in a weight of 3270 g for the VSSK Vykhlop replica itself, 210 g for the 62-round magazine, and 865 g for the suppressor. The announced availability is spring 2026, and pre-orders are expected to open soon.
