Direct Action is a Polish brand offering equipment for special forces. The Core Assaulter Setup is a proposed example configuration intended for a combat team member without a specific specialization (K9, medic, sniper, breacher, JTAC). As the manufacturer states: “This is an example configuration (…) created to demonstrate the logic, capabilities, and versatility of the system: load-bearing capacity, access, control, and speed of operation.”
Core Assaulter Setup is based on a modified version of the popular SPITFIRE MK II plate carrier used by operators of NATO special forces units. The vest included in the set has been expanded with AR15 magazine pouches, a Spitfire Assault Panel back panel, a Warhawk Modular Gun Belt MKII, and a Rope Bag as an additional element. The Core Assaulter Setup is a configuration for an operator who cannot afford unnecessary movements or constant readjustments. It is designed for use in unpredictable environments—indoors, in vehicles, and in confined spaces, often at night and under time pressure.
According to the manufacturer, the set is well-suited for operators engaged in direct action (DA), security operations, apprehensions, and CQB—that is, situations requiring smooth transitions between mobility and static positions. The proposed configuration ensures equipment organization and easy access—while wearing gloves, under stress, and even with one hand. The setup is designed to withstand load and strain without looseness or shifting, and to perform well in vehicles without snagging or interfering with gear. It also enables what matters most—quick donning and doffing of equipment. The entire system remains compatible with other Direct Action products. The Core Assaulter Setup serves only as a base for an operator’s individual configuration.
