Rifle grenades are most commonly associated with the period of World War I and World War II, when firearms were typically designed to launch such payloads. Few modern firearm designs still retain this capability as part of their intended functionality. One of them is the French FAMAS F1, which, together with its bullpup configuration, represents a rather exotic and uncommon combination. This makes the release of dedicated rifle grenade replica kits for the FAMAS F1 by NorthEast Airsoft and Gunpoint.de even more interesting (Gas-powered FAMAS F1 replica already at the beginning of 2023).

The very idea of an airsoft rifle grenade is quite unusual, and the manufacturer decided to design the grenade itself from safe foam. The entire system is powered by a single CO2 capsule placed in the base of the grenade, which is then mounted onto the replica’s muzzle device. The operating principle is very simple and relies on puncturing the capsule, which then propels the grenade. At this point, only a demonstration of the system and the contents of the set have been presented, without an exact release date or price.
