External parts

Rear end of the receiver. The mounting point of the buttstock is visible, as well as the socket of the button used for folding it and the hooks fixing the receiver cover in place.

External barrel with a gas tube and accessories. Despite the use of several Allen screws, all connections are pinned. The magnets speak for themselves. In the AK-12/AK-15, the soldier does not dismantle the gas tube itself.

Cleaning and maintenance is done after taking out the plug.

Standard buttstock latch. It looks like a typical latch from an AKS-74, ASK-74U or AK-74M, but I did not compare it 1 to 1. I do not know if it is interchangeable with the latches made by other manufacturers.

The gearbox frame

The quality is underlined by details, although rounded corners of the cylinder ports would be useful.

The frame with a standard trigger switch and gears. The is a factory installed delayer on the sector gear.

The gears again. The sector gear is sintered.

The cylinder set. The cylinder itself is chromed. Both the piston and cylinder head are made of aluminum. The piston has sex holes and a bearing. The nozzle has an o-ring.

The trigger switch with complete electrical wiring. The cables are unfortunately thin and stiff. They end with a Tamiya mini plug.

A standard, short type motor in a standard frame. The axle can be turned easily with your fingers. The magnets do not give the impression of being very strong.
