NFM is introducing a completely new helmet under the name HJELM Helmet System.

The product, although containing many innovations, remains compatible with standard hearing protection systems/communication sets and has a light mount for NV devices.

The HJELM was developed in cooperation with Final Forge, and the designers' main goal was to reduce the helmet's weight as much as possible. One of the most characteristic features, unlike worldwide trends, is that there are no fixed rails attached to the helmet.

Instead, an accessory mounting system was introduced under the name Edgemount, which allows the user to attach selected equipment only when needed, just like the M-LOK system for small arms.

Instead of the traditional Velcro on the helmet, we can see the Helmet Attachment System Pattern (HASP).

The HASP is lighter than Velcro and does not wear out when adding and removing equipment. The high-strength HASP composite mesh serves as a basis for attaching accessories, including various types of camouflage systems.

The NFM also reduced the weight of the shell itself, but data on it and the ballistic specification itself have not yet been provided. The fit has also been improved by introducing four different sizes and two different widths of the fascia to better adapt the helmet to different head shapes.

The Skullplate insert system improves breathability thanks to the lower suspension profile, and also provides better protection against impacts. The new fascia strap is fastened ... at the back, just above the nape, on both sides of the adjustment knob, which means that the helmet can be worn with gas masks independently whether the strap is worn on the chin or under the chin.
