"Mission Essential is responsible for providing linguist support for all U.S Military in Europe. We are highly interested in having you work us and become a part of history! We have a need for Polish Local Language Contractors to provide interpretation support to the upcoming exercise, Defender 2020.
This exercise is a joint, multi-national, U.S. Army Europe exercise that will test the U.S. Military’ ability to rapidly deploy a large combat-credible force of troops and equipment to Europe and integrate that force with our partners and allies. This exercise is the largest deployment of U.S. based Army forces to Europe for an exercise in 25 years with over 37,000 total participants expected.
Language contractors will provide interpretation services between local and foreign military forces during Defender 2020 exercise.
Various starting locations throughout Poland (Szczecin, Utska, Gdynia, Gdansk, Swidwin AB, Drawsko Pomorskie, Wedrzyn, Biedrusko, Bydogoszcz, Krakow, Miroslawiec Ab, and Powidz).
Minimum Requirements
<ul><li>Must pass Speaking Language Tests in Polish and English</li><li>Must be able to to complete and meet medical requirements</li><li>Must be able to provide a clean non-conviction report</li><li>Must be local to start location for work or able to travel to location</li><li>Be a team player who is willing to learn new skills</li><li>Must be able to live and work in austere conditions and harsh environments, to include living in temporary and potentially mixed gender facilitates as mission dictates.</li><li>Must be able to work for the entirety of the exercise dates as assigned, which could be as soon as 15 Feb 2020 and last up to 177 days.</li></ul>Desired Requirements
