On one of the social networks profiles of the HK company we can admire the first batch of new M110A1 Squad Designated Marksman Rifles (SDMR) which were sent from the company headquarters in Columbus, Georgia.
The new US ARMY rifle is chambered for the the 7.62x51 mm NATO round and differs from the HK417 G28 rifle from which it derives with, among other things, the handguard. US ARMY chose the Geissele's M-LOK handguards, SIG Sauer TANGO 6 1-6×24 rifle scopes on the Geissele Super Precision Mount and OSS EL-QD 762 suppressors.
