Red Arrow Weapons is a newcomer to the AR world and has been operating only since last year. Until now, they had offered intermediate ammunition rifles in the form of .223 Remington and .300 Blackout. The RAW10 is their first AR-10 in the classic .308 Winchester caliber.

The manufacturer's press release starts with the most important information, that is, the rifle was finished in Midnight Bronze, applied using the Cerakote method, i.e. by coating with a thermosetting paint hardened at high temperature.

Moving on to more important things - the RAW10 is equipped with an 18-inch stainless steel barrel thinned by channeling it. It was finished with a rather large Diamondback DB10 muzzle brake. The twist rate of the barrel is 1:10. The trigger mechanism that can be found in the lower receiver was provided by the well-known CMC Triggers company with a trigger pull weight of about 1.5 kg, so there is no concern about its quality and performance.

The barrel is surrounded by a 15-inch (7075-T6) aluminum handguard with M-Lok standard ports. The top surface is only partially equipped with a Picatinny rail. The MIL-STD-M1913 rail was placed precisely where it is needed, i.e. in the place of the front ring in the upper receiver of mounting large scopes and in the place where the front sight is usually attached. As one might expect, there were also Magpul accessories installed, in this case the MOE-K grip and the ACS-L Carbine stock. The bolt carrier is protected against corrosion by nitriding in black.

The Red Arrow Weapons RAW10 weighs 3.84 kg. The set includes a 20-round Magpul P-Mag 20 magazine. The price is 1,250 USD, which is neither low nor excessive.
