There are both fans of soft headgear and better protective helmets among airsoft players. The latter are also a common platform for mounting cameras that record our games. With some adaptations in this direction, the SRU Precision company came out with another tactical helmet based on the FAST design.
The new model will have a visor (meeting ballistic standards) covering the entire face, available in 3 versions: transparent, smoked and brown.
The cover is additionally raised with a single button, so there is no risk of a overheating under the helmet during a break.
During games, two fans with quiet operation will take care of proper airflow. Their assembly will be placed in the place of headphones, which unfortunately will have to be abandoned.
The list of accessories is completed by a mount for a GoPro or Insta 360 sports cameras, placed as on the front of the helmet.
Most of the construction elements were made using 3D printing, but according to the manufacturer, they can easily withstand hits from 0.2 g BBs with a speed of up too 150 m/s from 5 meters (which is about 2.2 J). The announced shipping date is April, but pre-orders are currently underway. The prices for a helmet kit with one visor is 189 USD, with additional visors costing 15 USD each.
