The already mentioned USURPER Belt System, from the American manufacturer Shaw Concepts, LLC., is not the only new product scheduled for release on July 4.
Another product will also be available, the Side Kick Holster Pad, that extends the functionality and improves the stability of the holster used.
The Side Kick pad is compatible with holsters and adapters that use the 3-hole Safariland mounting system (works e.g. with Safariland Low Ride UBL or True North Concepts MHA). However, the manufacturer does not guarantee its correct operation with mid-ride lowering panels, due to the possibility of interfering with the belt or other equipment items in its vicinity.
In order to increase the comfort of use, the new product from Shaw Concepts uses 1/4" foam with a closed-cell structure and an appropriate spacer mesh. On both sides of the pad there are two columns of MOLLE cells for mounting additional pouches. The elastic, 1" wide thigh strap is finished with a durable SRB buckle. To facilitate the use of the panel by left-handed people, it is possible to move the strap to the other side.
The product is made in the USA from Cordura (laminate) and other military grade materials, weighs approximately 85 grams and is compliant with the Berry Amendment requirements. The set includes mounting screws matching the aforementioned Safariland standard. The pad, available in Multicam, Coyote Brown, Ranger Green and Black, will be available on July 4 for $50.
