Česká zbrojovka has presented a new refreshed version of its iconic sport pistol - the CZ Shadow 2. The new version was called CZ Shadow 2 Compact and is visibly smaller than its predecessor.
The new CZ Shadow 2 Compact shares the same DNA as its older IPSC Production class sister, which results, as the company states, into excellent accuracy, ergonomics and handling with a smooth trigger action (3.4 lb trigger pull weight when cocked, 10.3 lb without cocking).
To reduce weight, compared to its predecessor, the Compact model is made of forged aluminum and features a 4-inch barrel . The capacity of the double-stack magazine is 15+1. Like the standard Shadow 2, the Compact has distinctly textured aluminum grips.
Other standard features include a low-profile ambidextrous safety and a replaceable low-profile magazine release button. The gun is optics ready (a direct Trijicon RMR/SRO mount) but comes with a fiber optic front sight and vertically adjustable rear sight. The set also includes a Picatinny accessory rail under the barrel.
