The manufacturer of the popular pistol training system, Mantis, has released a system for the SIG MCX carbine called the Mantis Blackbeard X. Similarly to the pistol version, the system can be connected wirelessly to a phone application.

Mantis is a shot free training system that allows to practice using weapons in the comfort of one's home. The application allows to evaluate trigger work and estimate where hits land at a target. After each shot, Mantis automatically resets the trigger to the ready position for another shot.

The rifle training system was previously available only for the AR-15 weapon system, but now a version designed for the SIG MCX system has been presented.
