Vega Force Company is developing its range of Cold War replicas quite dynamically. The new addition to this family will be a replica of the XM16E1 carbine, better known as the ancestor of the M16. The replica has all the characteristic elements such as an early version of the forward assist button, flash hider, polymer handguard with aluminum thermal shielding with a triangular cross-section, early manipulator designs, XM16E1 lower receiver, fixed transport handle with a sight made according to the A1 design, full COLT XM16E1 markings (thanks to cooperation with Cybergun) and a fixed stock.

Many parts are also made of steel. Inside, there have been some improvements to the trigger mechanism, with the disconnector, hammer and valve hammer redesigned to the V3 standard and made of steel.

Changes were also made to the position of the mechanism in the lower receiver which, according to the manufacturer, increased repeatability and reliability. There haven't been that many changes in the upper receiver. The adjustment system from V2, the dummy gas tube, the steel front sight base and the steel barrel nut were left unchanged. Therefore, it is possible to use older uppers receivers with the newer lower ones. The additions include new V3 magazines with a capacity of 20 and 30 BBs, with the option of dry firing.

The replica will also be compatible with accessories in the form of an XM148 grenade launcher replica (XM177E2 and XM148 grenade launcher by Vega Force Company). The replica is already available.
