During the online event that took place earlier this week, various Olight products were presented. Among the new ones, our greatest attention was drawn to the refreshed variant of the popular tactical flashlight from the Warrior series. The new model is called Warrior X 4 and, in addition to improved technical parameters, it also brings new solutions and... a return to the functions of the first version of Warrior X, which some users of the new Olight lights may have certainly missed.
The fourth generation of the Olight Warrior X offers only a slightly increased luminous flux (from 2500 to 2600 lumens), but the most noticeable improvement will be in brightness. The previous flashlight, X3, in laboratory conditions reached 78,000 candela, resulting in a declared range of 560 meters. The new variant, in the highest mode, reaches 99,310 candela and has a range of 630 meters.
The good news is the return of the stroboscopic mode (frequency 13 Hz at full luminous flux). As with the first product in the Warrior X series, the new flashlight allows switching between groups of modes suited to different tasks.
Another important change is the use of a hidden USB-C port. Thanks to it, the included Li-Ion 3.6V 5000 mAh 21700 battery has a second charging method, apart from the dedicated MCC charger. It is worth noting that this solution is designed in such a way that it does not negatively affect the flashlight's resistance to the adverse effects of water. This one still complies with the high IPX8 standard.
The new Olight Warrior X 4 (in black and limited "camouflage" versions) is now in stores.
