Among the new products from Holosun, which will appear at the SHOT Show 2024, one will be the RAID (Rifle Area Illumination Device) tactical flashlight .
RAID is a product intended for installation on long guns. The emitter used is able to generate a luminous flux of 1,000 lumens and a luminous intensity of up to 80,000 candela. These characteristics should prove useful when precisely illuminating a target at a long range.
This model is to be powered by an included, replaceable battery (together with a magnetic USB charger), but the manufacturer has not yet revealed its type. Taking a look at the proportions and dimensions of the flashlight, it would not be a surprise if it was designed to use an 18650 battery or alternatively a 21700 battery (more and more often used in flashlights).
The RAID flashlight is operated using switches included in the set: a classic one in the rear cap or a remote one on a cable. Many will also be pleased by the fact that mounting the product on a Picatinny and M-LOK rail is possible without the need to purchase additional mounts.
Like many other new products from Holosun, the flashlight is made of durable 7075 T6 aluminum alloy and it should be resistant to dust and water (IP68 resistance class). The planned date of releasing the product and its suggested price are to be revealed during the upcoming SHOT Show 2024.
We also encourage you to take a look at other new products from Holosun, including: the IRIS module, the P.ID-K pistol flashlights and the HMX6 magnifier.
