Another magnifier is on its way to market. Just yesterday we had the opportunity to briefly describe the new 3X-P™model made by Aimpoint®, and today it's time for a product from Holosun, with a much larger magnification - 6x. It will be presented during the upcoming SHOT Show 2024, but the manufacturer has already revealed its details.
Made out of durable 7075 T6 aluminum alloy, the HM6X was designed to work with various red dot sights. The proper alignment of the devices is facilitated by its own vertical and horizontal adjustment and a removable spacer ensuring compatibility with absolute co-witness and 1/3 co-witness red dot sight mounts.
The magnifier itself includes a double-sided, flip-to-side,QD-type mount for a Picatinny rail. The HM6X has an eye relief of 65 mm and a field of view of 3.7°.
The new product from Holosun weighs approximately 312 grams and its dimensions are 110x46x64 mm. It meets the IP67 dust and water resistance standard. The price of HM6X and the planned release date are to be announced during the SHOT Show 2024.
Other new products from Holosun described so far: P.ID-K and P.ID-K-PLUS flashlights, RAID flashlight, intended for mounting on long gun, and the IRIS module.
