At the ongoing Shot Show 2024 in Las Vegas, Glock USA showed off new proposals that are now hitting the market. The emphasis was placed on new versions of already known models, i.e. two well-known subcompact pistols - Glock 29 chambered in 10 mm Auto and Glock 30 chambered in .45 Auto - in a new version, i.e. the fifth generation.
Also, a new product, which we have already written about at WMASG - Glock 49, which is currently produced only for the American market and has not yet reached Europe, has been shown. It's design is already compatible with "generation 5", but of course it cannot be called that as it is a new model, so for this one it is "generation 1". The Glock 49 is a "reverse" of the Glock 45 as it has a short gun grip, like the Glock 19, with a long barrel and a slide from the Glock 17.
All new models (and older ones) could be tested at the shooting range during Range Day.
