InfiRay Tube SE is an improved, compact series of thermal imaging sights with an appearance similar to classic rifle scopes. We had the opportunity to get to see it up close and describe it in more detail during its premiere during the IWA OutdoorClassics 2023 fair (Hot new products from InfiRay Outdoor).
In recent days, another budget product from this line has been added to the manufacturer's offer: the TP25 SE. It retains most of the features of more expensive models, but it uses a lower resolution sensor: 256x192 px (12 μm, 50 Hz, ≤25 mK). Combined with 25 mm optics, it gives basic optical magnification of 4x and a field of view of 7.0° x 5.0° (12, 3 m x 8.6 m @100 m).
The technical specifications most likely have an error in the NETD parameter value.
Due to the parameters described above and a detection range comparable to the more expensive TL25 SE model (1300 meters), the new InfiRay product should be an interesting choice for people willing to sacrifice a wider field of view for a lower price. The Tube TP25 SE is priced in Polish stores at around 1600 EUR.
