During SHOT Show 2024, at the stand of a popular flashlight manufacturer, SureFire, where were many products have been presented as new ones last year: A refreshed series of SureFire Turbo flashlights. In addition to them, a new model intended for everyday use also caught our attention: the Stiletto Pro II.
The Stiletto Pro II is another rechargeable EDC flashlight from this series, next to the Stiletto and the Stiletto Pro. It has many improvements, and the most noteworthy one is the use of a double reflector with two emitters. Compared to the earlier Pro variant, which is still to be offered by the manufacturer, there is a clear increase in the value of the luminous flux (maximum of 1500 lumens, instead of 1000 lumens), as well as a five times increase in the luminous intensity of the light source, which in the highest mode will now reach 35,000 candela. This significantly increases the range at which the flashlight is able to illuminate an area.
The new product from SureFire retains many of the features for which the Stiletto flashlights were known. However, in line with today's standards, the Micro-USB charging port has been replaced with a USB-C port. Depending on the selected mode, the operating time on a fully charged battery can range from 1 to even 23.5 hours. It is estimated that the described model will hit the stores in this quarter, and its suggested price may reach 350 USD.
