Physical magazine load indicators are no longer limited to an inspection port or transparent magazines. UNITY Tactical has published information about a new WZL Full Magazine Indicator add-on on its social media. The full mag indicator is designed for Magpul second and third generation PMAG magazines in 5.56/.223 and .300 Blackout calibers of any capacity.
The whole design works not only with factory magazine floor plates, but also with Ranger Plate or MagPod plate.
The whole thing is based on a simple principle of operation, where when the magazine is empty the indicator will remain hidden, when partially loaded the indicator will be on the same level as the floor plate, and when fully loaded it will protrude out of the plate.
In addition, 3 color variants (blue, orange and black) were made to allow for even better differentiation between magazines with different loads. The WZL Full Magazine Indicator are now available, and a set of 3 indicators of the same color costs 29 USD atthe manufacturer's website.
