During the MOA fair, the S&T stand was not the only one where we could find historical replicas. Trench Airsoft, a brand specializing in these designs, also presented its products in the form of both historical and more modern ones. While replicas of designs such as the Italian Carcano, the Prussian Kar98 in several variants or the still upcoming Suomi KP/31 in a gas-powered variant are familiar to us from previous editions (Trench Airsoft), there was also room for new products. This time, a more modern product is the ADAR handguard, stock and pistol grip set for AR-15 replicas. Trench Airsoft created this product with gas-powered replicas in mind and made sure that it could fit on rifles from WE Airsoft, MWS Tokyo Marui and Vega Force Company.
The historical aspect presented at the fair was a replica of the German copy of the Sten submachine gun, one of the last and most desperate designs of the Third Reich. We are of course talking about the MP3008, a design very similar to the British one. The replica will be based on a gas-power system and despite the rather crude workmanship in the original, the replica will be made entirely of CNC machined steel.
There are also some other interesting products, such as a riflegrenade for the Kar98 replica or a Kar98AZ rifle stock made entirely of birch wood, which is still being developed.
Work on the replica of the Italian Carcano, which is to hit the stores in 2025, is nearing completion.
