During this year's fair the Ares Airsoft stand showcased the latest family of gas-powered revolver replicas. Designated as Rev, the line offers 6 different variants differing in barrel length and color variant. All of them share a mechanism offering power from 12g CO2 capsules, a fully metal frame, a walnut grip and an adjustable hop-up system.
There was also no shortage of realistic casings holding BBs and moonclip-style speedloaders for them. The classic versions are to be released in stores now, and in the future Tactical versions equipped with additional rails will be added. It is also worth mentioning Ares cooperation with CL Project, which makes high-quality tuning parts and will offer them for Ares products.
A completely new product is the HPA engine from Ares. The design based on a two-valve system and proprietary electronics is designed for M4 replicas.
For fans of sniper rifles, a complete AR-10 replica with a bolt-action operating system. Unlike the Maple Leaf MLC-ARBA-KIT product (Bolt-Action gas-powered AR-15 replica), here we have dedicated magazines and a spring-loaded system. Partially taken from other replicas of the Striker system brand, where realistic piston/bolt movement was used, placing a similar system in the new AR-10 replica while not limiting its movement and air dose by moving the spring to the guide. A conversion kit using CO2 capsules was also immediately announced.
Replicas visually inspired by Glock pistols were also presented, where instead of the entire slide, only its internal part moves, similarly to the AAP01. The whole thing is supposed to use Glock gas magazines (unfortunately, we could not established in which standard), the replicas will be available in two sizes, and black or tan colors.
