The IWA trade fair offers a rare opportunity to take a closer look at lesser-known airsoft replicas. An excellent example of this is the French company Storm Airsoft, known mainly for airsoft grenades and the innovative StormR-Shot replica (PC1 Storm Airsoft with the proprietary R-Shot system). Combining elements of a spring-powered and HPA replica, thanks to the air being compressed by muscle power and released during a shot through an electrovalve. The R-Shot system itself is still being improved and changes are being introduced.
Storm Airsoft is also introducing its own HPA engine under the name HP.R.
The single-valve, electronically controlled design is to offer a rate of fire in the range of 10-40 shots per second, adjustable opening time, and programmable shooting modes. The engine is to be offered at a price of 265 EUR.
