The situation related to documents regarding firearms in the Polish mObywatel application is developing quite rapidly. Recently, there has been some hope with the proposal of the first document (certificate for the purchase of a firearm) which we wrote about in mid-May (First steps towards firearms being present in the Polish mObywatel application)
Following the momentum, the Polish Sport Shooting Federation announced on its website the signing of an agreement with the Polish Ministry of Digitization. The result of this cooperation is to be the introduction of a whole range of documents to the mObywatel app, such as:
- Shooting patent
- Competition license
- Sports shooting referee license
- Dynamic shooting referee license
- Coaching license
- Instructor license
- Shooting instructor's authorizations
With the introduction of these documents, it will be possible to check documents via QR codes.
The Polish Sport Shooting Federation announcement did not provide a specific date for the introduction of the above documents, but only mentioned a period of several months for the introduction.
