Aimpoint has announced a new configuration of its popular ACRO P-2 red dot sight, featuring a larger 9 MOA aiming dot. This variant was designed with mounting on tactical shotguns in mind, as well as for rapid target acquisition of small, fast-moving targets at close range, such as small drones. This model was developed in response to user demand for a simple and effective optic that can be quickly deployed in operational use or for dynamic sport shooting.

The larger aiming dot makes target acquisition easier and shortens the training time for shooters less experienced with shotgun operation, while the design retains the hallmark features of the ACRO series, including a rugged, fully enclosed housing and long battery life – up to 50,000 hours of operation on a single CR2032 battery. The sight is compatible with Picatinny rails, features a low weight (approximately 61 g), and is waterproof to a depth of 35 m, making it suitable for use by armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and sport shooters alike.

According to the manufacturer, the new ACRO P-2 9 MOA is intended to provide a fast and practical solution in the face of growing challenges related to aerial threats and dynamic tactical shotgun scenarios, while also offering users more options in terms of precision and reaction speed.
Aimpoint’s representative in Poland is the Hubertus Pro store, where the sight is available at a price of around 710 EUR.
