Fans of support weapons in the form of the M249/FN MINIMI replicas will certainly be pleased with the latest additions introduced by Well Pro. Alongside its entire range of gas-powered replicas (which continues to expand with licensed models), Well Pro has decided to modernize its proven and popular replica design by implementing significant internal upgrades. The most notable change is the introduction of a dual-motor gearbox, which is intended to improve operational smoothness and potentially enhance the replica’s performance. This modification required substantial changes to the internal construction, making the entire system a dedicated design.
The replica will be available in two versions: the M249 S with a fixed stock (housing the battery compartment) and the M249 Para with a retractable/folding stock (featuring battery storage inside the handguard). The replicas are factory-configured to use dedicated box magazines with an automatic feeding system; however, standard AR-15 magazines can also be used without any modifications.
During the IWA trade show, information also emerged regarding a possible gas-powered variant currently under development. For this reason, we are unable to disclose many additional details at this time.
