Falkor Defense, a company from Montana, USA, famous for the production of premium AR15 designs, decided to launch its PCC model called the FG-9.
According to the company's website, Falkor deliberately delayed the release of this type of weapon, observing how the models released by the competition, often hastily built on the basis of upper receivers of the AR15 rifles, struggle with high failure rates and underdevelopment. One of such often occurring malfunction appeared in the system that locked the bolt in the rear position after firing the last round. Falkor Defense claims that in its FG-9 model it has used its own, patented Last Round Bolt Hold Open (LRBHO) system, ensuring trouble-free operation of the bolt and the catch.
The FG-9 carbine is powered a 9x19 mm cartridge from GLOCK type magazines.
In addition, the weapon is characterized by a 5.5-inch BA Hanson Barrel, a 5-inch front made in the MLOK system, and a two-sided safety selector switch. The set includes a GLOCK 17 magazine and a high quality, rubber pistol grip made by HOGUE. The currently suggested retail price (MSRP) is 1,499 USD.
Airsoft replicas of the Falkor Defense models are available in the offer of the EMG company. Would you like to see the FG-9 replica on store shelves? Write in the comments.
