Ed Brown Products, an American manufacturer of high-class 1911 semi-automatic pistols, has introduced an unusual item to its offer. It is a heavily modified Smith Wesson M&P M2.0. So the flagship S&W hammerless pistol, competing with models such as the Glock 17, the SIG Sauer P320 or the H&K SFP9. The model will join the Fueled Series family and will receive the MP-F4 designation.

The main changes take place in the area of the pistol's slide, as it is replaced with a completely new one with very strong milling. The grooves in the rear part have been straightened and deepened, the front ones have been extended over the top of the slide, but they are separated by three longitudinal ports revealing a gold nitrided and spirally channeled barrel. It has a 1/2x28 thread at the end for attaching silencers or compensators. The barrel itself is made of 416 stainless steel alloy.

Elevated Ameriglo iron sights with a tritium front sight were mounted on the slide. It has been designed to accept a microcollimator in the RMR standard. There aren't many changes in the frame. A large magwell and the Apex Tactical trigger mechanism have been added. However, the price has changed drastically, oscillating around 2,195.00 – $2,745.00. But as a consolation, the buyer gets magazines with an enlarged floor plate, with a capacity of 19 instead 17 9x19mm rounds.
