The American company Strike Industries has introduced the second, improved version of the universal mount for red dot sights on Glocks - the G.U.M. Universal (Optics) Mount for GLOCK™ Version 2.
The new version of the mount provides additional compatibility with even more red dot sights available on the market. Its minimal, ultra-low profile design provides a sleek appearance with a patented SI Multi-Optic Mount design that fits most mini/micro MRDS sights.
The included mounting pins and screws provide versatility for a variety of red dot sights, and the robust construction of the mount made of S45C steel ensures durability and long-term zeroing retention. Additionally, this mount is characterized by the lowest height above the barrel axis from the ones available on the market.
Just like the previous version, the G.U.M. V2 is attached via a dovetail on any Glock in place of the rear sight. Eight set screws are installed in the mount with two screws are for the dovetail. In conjunction with the two setting screws, the remaining screws on the plate must be used to secure it well to the slide before installing the desired sight.
