The Swedish company Sordin appeared at the Shot Show 2024 with a new proposal for the tactical hearing protectors market, with the target group being uniformed services and the army. The Sordin Supreme T2 family is a selection of military-grade headphones in versions with various headbands or for mounting on a helmet, with the option of connecting a radio.
Reliability and compact design can be expected from the new headphones, just like in the case of older products. The new family of products also includes the SordinFLEX system, which provides the user with a large range of modularity, unavailable in old models, thanks to which the end user can quickly and easily change the configuration of the headphones. This means, among other things, that one can easily change the way they are worn, using a headband, a neckband, or a helmet mount. The manufacturer ensures that all accessories provide a total of 36 combinations of configurations.
The outer panels will be available in three colors - black, green and tan.
The electronic layer of the headphones has also been significantly improved. The headphones are to have very good noise attenuation rates (SNR) - 29 dB for headband or neckband versions, and 28 dB for the helmet mounted version. The protectors will allow to choose between four SordinHEAR2 sound profiles, which allow to adjust the frequency characteristics and sensitivity of the electronics to user needs. The profiles are named Tactical, Dual, Comfort and Ambient.
The first Sordin Supreme T2 headphones are to be delivered to the Polish distributor in May or June this year.
It should also be added that within a month, at the IWA and Enforce Tac fairs in Nuremberg, a new line of civilian headphones will be presented, the X2, which will be available (unlike the military T2) in a version with Bluetooth connectivity, enabling connection, for example, to a smartphone.
