The Taiwanese MOA trade fair is an annual meeting of the largest airsoft manufacturers from Asia, although there is also no shortage of lesser-known manufacturers with equally interesting products. One of the hottest premieres of this year's edition is definitely the Groza conversion kit by ITP, made for the Saiga 12K replica in the Short Barrel Shotgun (SBS) variant. During last year's edition, a different tactical conversion was presented, but this year's is definitely different. It allows to transform the replica to resemble the famous bull-pup Russian OC-14 Groza carbine.
While the whole thing is based on a completely different replica, the operating principle in the form of moving the trigger to the front part was used. Some problems resulting from different magazine dimensions (both standard and extended magazines can be used) were also immediately solved by placing the pistol grip on a hinge.
The grip itself is an AK standard one and can be replaced with any other grip designed for AKs. The conversion kit has many options for mounting accessories, QD sockets for carrying sling swivels or even a dedicated transport handle that also acts as an elevation for optics. The whole thing is made of 6061 grade aluminum.
Other products from ITP also intended for the Saiga 12K SBS replica is a set of parts for the classic version. Those include a top rail, a tactical handguard with the M-LOK system, a modular silencer, a drum magazine kit and steel trigger assembly with automatic fire capability.
A suggestion for owners of classic gas-powered replicas is a mid-cap drum magazine with a capacity of 120 BBs for replicas of the Czech Scorpion vz.61 submachine gun, manufactured by KCS. It has also been announced that unspecified variants of the replica will appear in the future.
For owners of AR-15 family replicas from GHK, a drum magazine adapter was presented. Based on AW/WE or ITP products, it allows for trouble-free use in GHK replicas, using both Green Gas or HPA power supply.
The last interesting thing was the conversion kit for Ruger 10/22 replicas. As you can see, the kit is heavily inspired by the EBR variant of the M14 rifle, but in a slightly lighter version.
