President Andrzej Duda has signed a act that provides for the transfer of 3 billion PLN to increase the production capacity of the Polish arms industry. 2/3 of this amount is to be transferred by the Ministry of National Defense, and the remaining part will be transferred in the form of RARS securities. Thanks to these funds, the Capital Investment Fund is to invest in production plants that will increase ammunition production potential.
The draft law quickly passed through the Polish Sejm and was jointly voted on by the ruling coalition and the opposition. The Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, requested that the president sign the act as soon as possible.
