InfiTac, the tactical products branch of InfiRay, enters 2025 with more than just cosmetic novelties (Pistol Sights Fast Mini FMP13 InfiTac in the FDE color version). A new line of IOTS compact thermal imaging sights has been announced, which is to have the ability to wirelessly connect and transmit images to the InfiTac DNVS-14 PRO digital night vision monocular.

With the premiere of InfiTac IOTS, we can therefore expect the DNVS-14 monocular with the PRO suffix to hit the market. Time will tell whether the change in name is dictated by the desire to adapt the night vision device to work with the new sight, or whether there are more changes to the original design (CMOS matrix, 800x600 px resolution, 100 Hz refresh rate).

The new IOTS series will initially feature two models: the cheaper InfiTac IOP25 (256x192 pixels sensor resolution, 7.0° × 5.3° field of view) and the higher shelf InfiTac IOL25 (384x288 px, 10.5° × 7.9°). Both of them are distinguished by their compact design resembling prism sights and use the same optics: 25 mm F1.0. The comfort of aiming with thermal imagers is ensured by a large eye relief .

The ability to wirelessly transmit the image from the sight to the head-mounted night vision device is intended to help the user achieve a tactical advantage, including, for example, enabling comfortable aiming from behind cover.

The InfiTac IOP25 and IOL25 thermal imagers are protected against the adverse effects of water and dust in the IP67 standard. This has not been confirmed yet, but the photos show the presence of a USB-C port, a turret suggesting the possibility of using replaceable power cells, an offset base for a small red dot sight, a QD mount for a Picatinny rail, and a dedicated, probably removable "honeycomb" flash killer cover, which may help protect the thermal imager lens from various external factors during use.
