Magpul's Maztech X4 system hits the market

Magpul, the legendary American manufacturer of firearms accessories, has announced for the first time its augmented reality kit for sights over 3 years ago (Augmented Reality by Magpul and Maztech). The effect of cooperation with Maztech could be seen live during this year's Shot Show in Las Vegas (Magpul - new products at Shot Show 2025).

The Maztech X4 System itself consists of two main elements in the form of a laser rangefinder operating in the visible and infrared bands (1534 nm, invisible to night vision devices) and a 30 mm scope mount with an integrated ballistic computer and an augmented reality display.

The whole thing, when connected, allows for the display of ballistic corrections in real time. The system itself takes into account a whole range of factors from weapon parameters, ammunition to atmospheric conditions, weather or weapon angle. The corrections are then displayed in front of the optics in the form of an indicator showing the impact location.

Individual Maztech X4 System components are sold separately for $3,495 for the Maztech X4-FCS scope mount with a ballistic computer, $2,195 for the Maztech X4-LRF rangefinder (also usable as a standalone unit), $167 for the rangefinder-to-ballistic computer cable, and $250 each for wired rail or side receiver controls.

These are not all of the additions to the system presented in the concept art, but no information was given about further plans for developing this system.
