One of the major Taiwanese airsoft manufacturers is LCT Airsoft. The company is responsible for a whole range of AK carbine replicas in numerous variants, as well as replicas of different, uncommon designs. This year’s MOA trade show was also full of interesting offerings from LCT Airsoft in various categories.
MPi AK-74
The first of them are the MPiAK-74 replicas, i.e., East German AK-74 carbines, which we already wrote about at our portal (MPI AKS-74NK by LCT Airsoft). The MPi AK-74 replica lineup from LCT Airsoft consists of the MPi AK-74NK and MPi AK-74M variants — the NK variant with a side-folding wire stock and a shorter, 365 mm long inner barrel, and the M variant with a fixed stock and a 435 mm inner barrel.

Both replicas feature chocolate-colored furniture with a pattern characteristic of East German weapons, and the M variant has a fixed stock with an interesting pattern. The replica also introduces internal changes in the form of a rotary hop-up chamber instead of the classic slider and the presence of a quick spring change system. The announced release date is February 2026.

PKM
Another refreshed replica of a Kalashnikov design is the immortal Pulemiot Kalashnikova in the form of the PKM model. The replica is available in a version with a wooden stock and bakelite pistol and carrying grips. Inside, we will still find components taken from the PKP replica. The classic PKM replica is expected to be available from March 2026.

AK-12K
A more modern option from LCT Airsoft is the replica of the Russian AK-12C rifle, a shortened version of the well-known AK-12 design. The prototype shown at the fair under the designation AK-12K differs from the original only by name and the presence of an adjustable cheek rest on the stock.

In both cases, we have a modernized, folding polymer stock, an updated pistol grip with an integrated magazine release, a short handguard with rail sections on the top and bottom, a top rail on the dust cover, and the mechanical aperture sight known from the first generations of AK-12s and their replicas. The ambidextrous fire selector and the new muzzle device have also been faithfully reproduced. The replica uses a 325 mm long barrel. The announced availability is May 2026.

AK 2.0

LCT Airsoft continues to refine its designs, as evidenced by the upcoming new generation of AK replicas. We are talking about the upcoming AK 2.0 variant of the AK-74M replica, focusing on internal components consisting of several upgraded parts. Externally, these replicas will feature a finish even closer to a real firearm. Inside, we will find factory-installed electronics from the Polish company GATE Enterprise, 35K brushless motors, steel gears, nozzles, and cylinder and piston heads made of aluminum. Some elements have also been redesigned for easier spring changes and disassembly. The release of AK 2.0 is scheduled for April 2026.

MK-74
For ones looking for a more modular platform, new MK-74 models have also been prepared — AK replicas fitted with M-LOK handguard conversions and a full top rail. These replicas also borrow the pistol grip and adjustable stocks from the AK-12 platform. The replicas will appear in February 2026.

TP5

The newest (and simultaneously the last AEG replica from LCT Airsoft presented at MOA 2025) is the replica of the MP5 submachine gun designated TP5. For now, only the A2 variant with a fixed stock has been shown. It is highly likely that additional variants will appear. The replica will be released in a standard and an EBB version. It will share internal parts with other G3-family replicas from LCT Airsoft, although some variations may appear, such as a new metal hop-up chamber operating in the TDC (Top Down Center) system. The replicas will appear in March 2026.

For now, this is the end of new AEG replicas from LCT Airsoft. A follow-up summarizing the new gas-powered replicas from LCT Airsoft will appear soon.
