The whole situation forced SKW (Military Counterintelligence) and the Minister of National Defense to intervene. The response was quick due to the rumor about the lack of pay raises in for soldiers coming up at a time when the military is engaged in activities related to fighting against the coronavirus. "There will be no uniform allowances, pay raises or other bonuses - the minister has already made his decision, everything will be put on hold." This was the content of the fake news in question. The author referred to an allegedly authentic letter to the Military Economics Departments. It turned out that the action was a deliberate attempt to plant unrest in the ranks of the army.
The perpetrator of all the confusion has already been identified. As the head of the Ministry of National Defense wrote on Twitter: "We apply a policy of zero tolerance for people spreading disinformation. I would like to thank Military Counterintelligence for a smooth response." It is not yet known what the consequences for the perpetrator will be.
